We are looking for a talented and experienced leader that in a short time will be ready to take the lead as Release Train Engineer (program manager) for one of our agile release trains in Arla. Join our team of highly skilled people and professionals working truly agile changing the way we are working in Arla. Please note, this position can be based from either Aarhus, Denmark or Gdansk, Poland.
“You will join an Agile Release Train as a scrum master, but with the outlook to become a Release Train Engineer (program manager) within approx. a year. We are working very close to the business in Arla in combined scrum teams where business needs and IT solutions are matched to provide the greatest value to Arla. About the job
You will join our BAESS train supporting Finance, Legal and HR which consistst of a number a number of scrum teams. As a Scrum Master you will be responsible for one or two teams, but with the purpose to become part of the release train level tasks and responsibilities. You will work very close to the business in Arla leading the path to transform the way we are working.
- Scrum master working close to Product Owner from the business to drive one or two
- Doing forecasting and controlling of financials
- Do agile coaching of team members and in general ensure the agile culture and mindset is driving the way we work and deliver value
- Report and inform, participate in cross-train leadership meetings
- Manage external vendors that are an integrated part of our scrum teams
- Gradually taking over Release Train Engineer tasks and responsibilities
Who are you?
You are an experienced program manager or scrum master that are ready take the next step to become in the lead of a business transformation program (agile release train). You have several years of previous experience in a similar role and you have a proven track record of succeeding being in charge of larger projects/programs or agile delivery organizations. As we are working agile not only on team level but also on program level, you need to have experience with the agile culture and mindset. You are a team player with excellent communication skills (also in English) and cooperation skills. You manage your stakeholders, have people management skills and a personal drive to succeed – together with others.
